- The website, “Climate Silence” has created a visual display of the actions of Obama and Romney in regards to climate change.
- As seen from the image below, Obama has asked Congress to approve bills on capping carbon pollution and clean energy and has made statements about the negative effects of climate change.
- In January 2009, Obama pursued numerous measures that “would, directly or indirectly, reduce the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere.” (2)
- This included the $787 billion economic stimulus bill that had investments and incentives for clean energy, energy efficiency programs and other “green” projects.
